Tom Destry, the peace-loving son of a notorious gunslinger, hopes to end the corruption of saloon owner Decker and crooked Mayor Sellers. Although he prefers to talk rather than shoot, Destry is forced to strap on his holster when his best friend is killed by Decker's minions.
