There's no telling where Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) will wake up next in this time-bending science-fiction series about a physicist trapped in the past as he "leaps" into the bodies of people who lived within his own lifetime—and need his help. Sam's travels are disorienting, to say the least. But aid comes in the form of Al (Dean Stockwell), a friend from the future who appears as a hologram and guides him through each strange new scenario.
